Well, no, not for this post. In fact after a tremendous amount of work with my paper I am now finally able to submit it: The maths is done, everythings written down nicely, it also passed scrutiny by my supervisor and we even decided for a journal. Now today, when I finally was about to write the editors an e-mail submitting my paper, I came up with the glorious thought, that the working title might not be genuinely suitable for the real thing. It was too long and probably nobody but me would have understood what it means. And as I am aware, both are disqualifying criteria. So today I spent some time to think about a new title for my paper. I came up with “Uniqueness of a quasivariational sweeping process on functions of bounded variation”. Let’s see if it meets my professors approval.
Oh and yes, I am fully aware that this title will still say nothing to most people. But I hope that researcher in my field will understand.
